SoulPlay v35.0.2 - live client Use SoulPlayLauncher.exe from https://www.soulplay.online/download/ each time you play. The launcher verifies signed updates and installs the correct Java runtime automatically. Original graphics are selected on every fresh client start. Windows desktop scaling: keep 100% or the recommended 125%. The game uses native pixels automatically. Optional graphics on supported 64-bit Windows: - In-game OpenGL: classic appearance rendered through OpenGL 4.6 on the GPU. - Plugins > 117 HD: HD textures, shadows, lighting and water effects. - Selecting one GPU renderer stops the other. Switching it off restores original graphics. - 117HD starts its own GPU renderer; you do not need to enable the separate OpenGL button. - Configure 117HD graphics by clicking 117 HD in Plugins. The older SoulPlay Toggles control native interface/gameplay settings; Fog and HD Textures also control 117HD. 32-bit Windows, Linux and the macOS Intel preview retain original graphics. Standalone Java clients support Java 8+; modern Windows graphics require Java 17 x64. The Windows launcher supplies Java 17 x64 or the existing Java 8 x86 runtime automatically. Game profiles and cache remain in ~/SoulPlay-live-v35/. Keep your cache between sessions. Interrupted launcher downloads resume automatically. Repair the standalone client: java -jar SoulPlay.jar --repair Startup/client diagnostics are saved locally. Google and Discord login are available from the game login screen.
